Offered as the first commercially produced CANbus microwave switch, the device is offered in SP6T and Transfer models. If configured together, the two models can be used to build any given switching network controlled by a PC-based controller.
The device operates from 0 to 18 GHz with insertion losses ranging from 0.1 to 0.5 dB, minimum isolation from 85 to 60 dB, and maximum VSWR from 1.1:1 to 1.5:1. Operating voltage is 12 and 28 vdc and operating temperature range extends from 0°C to 85°C. Other specifications include a coil current of 180 mA maximum at 24 vdc and 20°C, a switching time of 20 ms, and a mechanical life of one million cycles.
