Offered as the first transceivers to incorporate spread-spectrum technology at a low-cost, the ConnexRF family of 2-GHz tranceivers uses a unique synchronization method that results in efficient data throughput with fewer components.
The first device in the family, the LX2400, enables RF data transmissions at rates of 19.2 kb/s with a range of up to 100 ft. indoor and 500 ft. line-of-site. It has an industry standard TTL-level asynchronous serial interface for fast integration.Other features include an output power of 3 mW typical, an operating voltage of 5V, sensitivity of -90 dBm typical, and a PLL lock time of 500 µs typical. The unit measures 1.65" x 2.65" x 0.2", weighs less than 0.5 oz., and includes an integrated dipole antenna.
Developer kits for the LX2400 are available and include everything needed for evaluation and integration.
