By providing 34 different channels, the QBT37 narrow-band transmitters and QBR37 receiver modules are said to let designers make more effective use of the 433.92 MHz frequency band. Targeting 1:1 and multi-mode applications requiring low-power radio links at speeds up to 20 kb/s over distances up to 1,300 feet, the components offer stable operation between 433.075 and 434.725 MHz in 50 kHz steps. The modules can also operate in the presence of existing wideband 433.92 MHz equipment.
Both modules come in a miniature SIL package and operate on 5V. Transmitter current is 22 mA maximum and data input can be either 5V digital or 3Vp-p analog. The receivers have ceramic filters and a CMOS-compatible output that can directly drive external decoders. All adjustments and squelch are built in. Quantity pricing starts at $48.
