Designed on a BiCMOS SiGe process allowing the integration on-chip of high Q tank circuit for the radio synthesizer PLL, the STw5288 is a single-chip front-end radio for Bluetooth applications. Its advanced architecture and high level of integration allows an implementation with a minimum number of external components. The high sensitivity and high level of rejection of co-channel and adjacent channels makes the device suitable for the highest bit rate data modes promised by the Bluetooth standard. Its low power consumption makes is well suited for mobile applications. The devices support the BlueRF functional receiver interface specification allowing flexibility to interface with a wide range of baseband processors. Call for price.
