Customized for key Bluetooth and mobile-communications functions, Cell Packs are a family of radio frequency ICs that offer designers a quick and easy way to implement a variety of important functions required for mobile communications products and Bluetooth-enabled devices. Each RF Cell Pack eliminates the need for multiple discrete devices required to perform specific functions such as wideband amplifier, mixer, attenuator, and single-pole double-throw (SPDT) switch. The extended family now includes three-wideband amplifier Cell Packs for low-voltage operation, for crystal oscillator functions, and for SPDT switch functions. The wideband amplifier Cell Packs, designated TA4011FU/AFE, TA4012FU/AFE and TA4016AFE, are housed in ultra-compact SMT packaging and are well-suited for PDA. Cell phone, portable computer, set-top box and tablet PC applications. Pricing starts at $0.38 each/40,000. TOSHIBA AMERICA ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS INC., Irvine, CA. (800) 879-4963, ext. 204.
