High-speed data transfer with high isolation voltage and noise immunity are among the key attributes expected to turn a new family of photocouplers into important players in the telecomm and industrial equipment markets. Housed in 5-pin SOPs and 8-pin DIPs, the couplers span a data transfer rate spectrum of 1 Mbps for SOP (PC457- L0NiP) and DIP (PC957L0NSZ) packages to 25 Mbps for DIPs (PC912L0NSZ). In addition, the devices’s isolation voltage spec exceeds the published figure of 5 kV and its instantaneous common mode rejection voltage is a minimum of 10 kV/µs.
