The 1-Mb/s PC4D570NiP and 10-Mb/s PC4D100NiP dual-channel photocouplers are available in eight-pin SOPs measuring 5.2 mm x 7 mm and with a lead-free soldering option. Over a temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, the devices operate on 7V with a maximum forward current of 20 mA. Minimum common-mode rejection is 10 kV/s and isolation is up to 2.5 kVRMS. Other features include a double transfer molded construction and integration of both the optical and IC die (OPIC technology) that permits direct connection to a microcontroller and protects against electromagnetic and power supply noise. Soldering temperature is 270°C. Available on tape-and-reel, prices for the PC4D570NiP and PC4D100NiP are $0.90 and $1 each/5,000, respectively.
