Claiming position as industry's highest-performance PCI/X-to-VMEBus bridge, the Tsi148TM is also said to be the only such device to provide a sustained transfer rate of 305 MB/s. The device is the result of a collaboration with Motorola Computer Group as part of the industry's VME Renaissance. Features include multithreading capabilities, a master, slave, and system controller, PCI-X local bus supporting two loads at 133 MHz, and backward compatibility with legacy VMEbus systems. On the system interface, the Tsi148 operates in master or slave mode for traditional VME, 2eVME, and 2eSST transactions. Documentation including user manuals, reference schematics, and software drivers are available on the company's web site. Price for the Tsi148TM is $200 each/1,000.
