Qualified for a minimum of 100 million cycles of operating life, the M1C06-CDK2 is a SDPT bipolar latching MEMS switch. It is rated for operation at up to 6 GHz and comes in an ultra miniature 5 mm x 5 mm surface-mount ceramic package. The device is designed as a latching SDPT relay that accepts bipolar voltage pulses (+5V, -5V) to set and reset the relay. Maximum insertion loss at 6 GHz is 0.5 dB, and isolation is specified at 40 dB minimum. Switching times for both operate and release of the relay are typically less than 50 µs, and a maximum of 200 µs. Bounce time of the gold-alloy relay contacts is less than 5 µs typical and 200 µs maximum. The operating temperature range is –40°C to +85°C. The device is also available in die form.
