Recently re-engineered to integrate with higher temperature, RoHS-compliant manufacturing processes, the low-noise FL500 laser-diode driver is now compatible with reflow processing at less than +250°C. The device is configurable as two independent 250-mA drivers or a single 500-mA driver. It runs on a 3V lithium-ion battery or an external supply up to a 12V.
