Advancing near field communication (NFC) capabilities in automotive apps, the MLX90132 is a 13.56-MHz, multi-protocol RFID/NFC transceiver supporting ISO/IEC protocols 18092, 14443A and B, 15693, and 18000-3.

Advancing near field communication (NFC) capabilities in automotive apps, the MLX90132 is a 13.56-MHz, multi-protocol RFID/NFC transceiver supporting ISO/IEC protocols 18092, 14443A and B, 15693, and 18000-3. It handles sub-carrier frequencies from 106 to 848 kHz and baud rates up to 848 kb/s while its digital section covers the low protocol layers from API to physical layer using bit and frame decoding functions. Other features include embedded tag emulation functionality for NFC support, enhanced tag and field detection capabilities, two modes and six states of operation allowing, and 10-mA power consumption in hibernate and 2.5 mA in NFC target modes.
