The MGA-43128 high-gain, high-linearity power amplifier promises to simplify high-data-rate, 700 MHz to 800 MHz applications found in LTE AP, CPE, and Picocell equipment.

The MGA-43128 high-gain, high-linearity power amplifier promises to simplify high-data-rate, 700 MHz to 800 MHz applications found in LTE AP, CPE, and Picocell equipment. An integrated bypass switch controlled attenuator provides up to 18-dB attenuation. The chip comes in a 28-lead, 5 mm x 5 mm x 0.85 mm surface mount QFN package and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Other features include a gain of 33.4 dB, linearity performance of 29.1 dBm Linear Pout at 2.5% error vector magnitude, 3GPP spectral mask complaint at 29 dBm output power, power shutdown feature with <50 mA shutdown current, and an output power detector. The MGA-43128 is priced at $8.03 each/10,000. AVAGO TECHNOLOGIES, San Jose, CA. (800) 235-0312 or [email protected].
