Fixed Frequency Synthesizer Features Ultra Low Phase Noise

Fixed frequency synthesizer, operating at 10 GHz, features a typical phase noise of -100 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset with typical sideband spurs of -70 dBc.

Z-Communications’ new SFS10000C-LF fixed frequency synthesizer model in X-band is a RoHS compliant single frequency synthesizer operating at 10 GHz, and featuring a typical phase noise of -100 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and typical sideband spurs of -70 dBc. The synthesizer is designed to deliver a typical output power of 0 dBm with a VCO voltage supply of 5 Vdc while drawing 90 mA (typical) and a phase locked loop voltage of 3 Vdc, while drawing 11 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40ºC to 85ºC. The fixed frequency synthesizer features typical second harmonic suppression of -30 dBc and comes in the company's standard SFS-L1 package measuring 1 x 1 x 0.22 in. Available in tape and reel packaging, the SFS10000C-LF fixed frequency synthesizer is suited for automated surface mount assembly and is ideally suited for broadband transmission and fixed wireless applications that require extremely low phase noise performance and superior second harmonic suppression.
