30 MHz VDSL2 Transformers Compliant With Vinax V3 Chipsets

Nov. 14, 2013
VDSL2 30 MHz transformers, used with Class AB line driver, delivers high bandwidth over existing copper transmission lines, while boosting longitudinal balance and total harmonic distortion performance.

The BX4290LNL and BX4290LNLT, VDSL2 30 MHz transformers from Pulse Electronics, are designed to be compliant for use with the Lantiq Vinax V3 chipset family. Put to use with the Class AB line driver to deliver high bandwidth over existing copper transmission lines, the vectoring transformers boast improved longitudinal balance and the ability to provide excellent total harmonic distortion performance on a very compact platform. When used in conjunction with the Lantiq Vinax V3 chipset family, the VDSL2 transformers support such services as HD IPTV, high-speed Internet access, multi-player gaming networks and VoIP. The BX4290LNL transformer is packaged in trays, and the BX4290LNLT is packaged in tape and reel. Both devices are RoHS-6 compliant SMD products that are also EN60950 compliant for functional isolation (250 Vrms). Evaluation samples of the BX4290LNL and BX4290LNLT VDSL2 vectoring transformers are available immediately, with production quantities available now at a lead-time of 8 weeks.
