Hermitically sealed against the elements, the HSI/R 750 series loop-powered, 4 mA to 20 mA LVDT position transmitters suit a wide range of position-monitoring and feedback applications in rugged environments. They are configurable for either loop power, two-wire, or externally powered three-wire sourcing outputs. Made of TIG welded stainless steel and sealed to IEC standard IP-68, the components specify a maximum linearity error of 0.25% of full range output or better using a statistically best-fit straight line derived by the least squares method. They are also available with a ±0.10% linearity. Available in ranges from 2.5 mm to 500 mm, the 19-mm diameter LVDTs are available as either blind bore units (HSI 750 Series) terminated in a glass-sealed axial connector or a through-bore design (HSIR 750 Series) with the connector mounted radially. Additionally, each comes with a mating connector plug. MACRO SENSORS, Pennsauken, NJ. (856) 662-8000.
