Greater stability over conventional TCXOs is said to be provided with the DigiXO, a digitally-compensated crystal oscillator that also claims lower power requirements. Frequency stability is said to be similar to that of low-end OCXOs, but with lower power consumption. The device is targeted for use in applications that include Stratum III timing for telephony, GPS and satellite modems.Packaged in the industry-standard 14-pin DIP measuring just 0.8" x 0.5" x 0.35", the device exhibits stabilities of ±0.3 ppm and better over an industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Phase noise is typically less than -145/dBc/Hz at offsets greater than 10 kHz.
