Ultrasonic Sensor Ignores Interfering Objects

The limitations associated with interfering objects and confined spaces are said to be eliminated with the UDDK 30, an ultrasonic sensor with teach-in that can learn to fade out objects, making installation and operation on the factory floor easier.
The sensor features and elliptical measuring area with an opening angle of 8° and easy, one-touch setup. The device can be taught to ignore interfering objects between the sensor and the target, allowing users to detect objects through a grid or narrow opening.
