Touting the industry's lowest phase noise and best tuning linearity, the CRO0412A-LF coaxial-resonator-based voltage-controlled oscillator operates in the VHF band, 380 MHz to 445 MHz, and specifies a phase-noise performance of –117 dBc/Hz at a 10-kHz offset away from the carrier. In terms of tuning linearity, typical tuning sensitivity is 17 MHz/V and covers the entire band between 0.5V to 4.5V. The RoHS-compliant VCO specifies a pulling and pushing figure of less than 1 MHz/V. Measuring 0.5" x 0.5" x 0.22", the component is available in tape and reel packaging at a price of $29.95.
