Set for high-volume portable electronics, the SiT8002XT emerges as the market’s thinnest clock oscillator. Measuring 3.5 mm x 3.0 mm and 0.25 mm in height, the device also reports industry-leading programmability, robustness, and reliability. It is factory-programmable to deliver output clock frequencies from 1 MHz to 125 MHz while operating from voltages of 1.8V, 2.5V, or 3.3V. Other features include a frequency tolerance of ±100 ppm or ±500 ppm and standby or output enable modes. Samples of the SiT8002XT are available now with production set for the fourth quarter.
