The G4 compatible G-Series watchdog timer module has an adjustable time-out period for monitoring control system integrity. The new -A option gives the user a top-accessible, multi-turn timing adjustment that sets the desired time-out period for detecting a loss of control condition. The G-Series timers are said to maintain a fail-safe dry output contact while power is present and input pulses are received within the set time-out period. Upon loss of input pulses from the control system, the timer will time-out and de-energize the output contact as an alarm or shutdown condition, depending on the application. This unit can plug into G4 compatible systems with 5V, 12V, 15V and 24V logic voltages.
