Targeted at the ATE market, the 5E1J-5808, a 14-position coaxial switch serves as a building block to provide various switching solutions in applications such as switch matrices and switchable filter banks. This SP14T switch is normally open and has an operating voltage of 24 Vdc. Its ability to direct a signal to 14 different ports through only one contact provides a versatile solution, the company says, for all applications where phase and amplitude matching is critical. Typical specifiations include frequency range of dc to 13 Ghz (upgradeable to 18 GHz), VSWR of 1.6:1, insertion loss of 0.6 dB max, and isolation of 50 dB min.
