The Alpha Instruments capacitance-based pressure sensors measure 0.1 in. to 100 in. of water column and models are available in bi-directional versions, making them suitable for applications where two directions of pressure measurement are necessary. Typical applications include HVAC applications, duct measurement, clean-room control, fume hoods, containment enclosures, and isolation rooms. The sensors come in a variety of package styles including PCB-mount, NEMA 1, NEMA 4, and din-rail mounting types. Outputs include 0 to 5V, 0 to 10V, and 4 mA to 20 mA. Accuracy varies from 2% to 0.25% at room temperature. Prices range from $90 to $150 each/250. SERVOFLO CORP., Lexington, MA. (866) 830-9572.
