The HSE/HSER series 0.75", dc LVDT position sensors employ sealed stainless steel housings, making them impervious to corrosive elements. Coil windings are also sealed to IP-68 and all housings, bore liners, and end washers are TIG welded. A single-ended LVDT, the HSE Series 750 sensors terminate through a sealed axial connector that prohibits the core from passing completely through the coil assembly. Termination for the HSER Series 750 DC-LVDTs is made through a sealed radial connector located near one end that offers a through-bore design and a shorter length. Shared features include ranges from 2.5 mm to 500 mm and a hysteresis error of less than ±0.01% of FSO. MACRO SENSORS, Pennsauken, NJ. (856) 662-8000.
