Other uses for the rugged unit includes central office, manufacturing, data acquisition, wireless communications and automatic test applications.The unit is supplied with hot-swappable ac power supplies, a 20-slot PCI/ISA passive backplane, hot-swappable cooling fans, an adjustable card hold-down bracket, eight front accessible drive bays, and an integrated environmental status monitor. Options include a variety of PCI/ISA backplanes with up to 16 PCI slots and a 20-slot ISA or 19-slot PCI/ISA power-segmented backplane.
