Heralded as the industry’s first five-beam, wide-angle distance sensors, the GP2Y3A components feature a 25° wide measuring angle achieved by five triangulation detections in one package. They are available in three detection ranges from 4 cm to 300 cm, and each sensor complies with the RoHS directive. The three sensors, GP2Y3A001K0F, GP2Y3A002K0F, and GP2Y3A003K0F, specify detection ranges of 4 cm to 30 cm, 20 cm to 150 cm, and 40 cm to 300 cm, respectively. Shared features include an operating voltage from 4.5V to 5.5V, power consumption of 33 mA, and an operating temperature range from -10°C to +60°C. Target applications include robotics, ATM machines, smart vending machines, and amusement equipment that remain in sleep mode until a user approaches. Price is $24 each/1,000.
