A high level of safety is claimed with the 3600 Tippmatic rocker switch that features an integrated, automatic electrical shut-off function with several shut-off delays available. The switch is suited for use in applications such as household appliances, water heating systems, hand dryers, climate controls, shoe cleaning machines, and supplementary heating units. Shut-off delays available for the switches range in eight steps from 0.83 minutes to 350 minutes for standard 60 Hz parts.
The switch assembly is protected against water and the contacts are rated for 125 Vac at 12A for the UL 1054 and at 250 Vac and 10A for the IEC 1058 standards.
