High-density M12 connectors from Phoenix Contact provide more I/O points than traditional M12 sensor/actuator connectors. The circular connectors come in 12- and 17-pole versions. The high pin count means M12 device connections work well in applications where space must be conserved, such as medical equipment, robotics, printing machines, and industrial cameras. The typical panel cut-out size is 11 mm. The rugged M12 connectors meet IP67 requirements, and are available as molded cordsets, extension cables, and panel feed-through or PCB-mounted receptacles. They feature the company’s Speedcon technology, securing with only half a turn. They operate across a wide temperature range and are available in plug or socket versions.
