Intended for industrial and commercial applications, Push Button Systems are multi-purpose initiation devices that function like traditional fire alarm pull stations, with the switches providing a simple contact closure to activate emergency equipment, audible and visual signals and alarm panels. The pushbutton stations come in red, labeled emergency or fire, and yellow, labeled evacuation with a push-and-key lock reset button. The three basic models come with or without a tamper-resistant polycarbonate cover that prevents false alarms without restricting use in legitimate emergency situations. When the cover is lifted to gain access to the alarm, a piercing warning horn sounds calling immediate attention to the area. Power requirements are 600 vac at 3A or 250 vdc at 1A. Piezo horns on covered units are powered by a 9V battery. Enclosure and cover are rated for NEMA 3R.
