Excellent cost-to-performance ratio is promised with the new VCXO-C3 line of voltage-controlled crystal oscillators. The devices are said to feature an inexpensive metal DIP package and are suited for telecomm, telephony and datacomm applications such as set-top boxes.
The device can also be used as a general-purpose oscillator in a wide range of other applications requiring a tight stability, low power consumption VCXO. The oscillators feature a standard stability of ±50 ppm over a temperature range of -10°C to +70°C. The pullability of the new devices is a minimum of ±100 ppm with a control voltage of 2.5V ±2V on pin 1. Frequencies range from 1 to 20 MHz.
