Carbon Film Resistors Suit Commercial Applications

Oct. 1, 2007
The CCF series of low-power resistors from TT electronics' IRC Wire and Film Technologies Division offers power ratings to 3 W and resistances to 10 megohms.

The CCF series of commercial grade, low power, carbon-film resistors offers designers an economical power resistor with high-quality performance. The conformally coated resistors, available in flame-retardant packaging, suit applications that do not require surge protection or precision tolerances. Typical uses include electrical equipment, small appliances, and consumer electronics, such as televisions and other high-volume products. The resistors are available from TT electronics' IRC Wire and Film Technologies Division.

The CCF series features power ratings of 0.125 to 3 W, with a resistance range of 1 Ω to 10 MΩ. Standard tolerances are ±2%, ±5%, and ±10%, with temperature coefficients of resistance as low as ±300 ppm/°C for values of 10 Ω or less. Maximum working voltage ranges from 200 to 500 V.

PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
Typical pricing for the 1/4-W CCF resistors is $0.0046 each in quantities of 100,000. Lead time is from stock to six weeks. FOR MORE INFORMATION
