The SB6U "pizzabox" enclosures are fully compatible with IEEE 1101.10 and 1101.11 requirements for applications requiring the faster speed of the CompactPCI bus architecture. The three-slot enclosure for 6U x 160 mm cards offers a low-profile design that is well-suited to desktop applications. With dimensions of 3" high x 16" deep, the enclosure features firm's two- or three-slot CompactPCI backplane. The card cage is positioned in the enclosure to provide direct access to the front panels for ease of cabling. The 300W power supply provides 5V, ±12V and 3.3V dc to the backplane. The system fan cools with air flow from left to right.
