All the clocking requirements for low-cost PCs are said to be met with the introduction of PI6C110E, the newest member of the firm's SiliconClock family targeted at the home PC market. Providing a complete system timing solution for Intel's 810E chipset, the device supports a wide range of processor busses, from the 66-MHz Celeron for value PCs to the 133-MHz Pentium III for mainstream PCs. The chip's performance is said to ensure all the system timing requirements can be met with wide margins. It can be designed to meet the stringent skew and jitter requirements of 133-MHz systems. Internally, it has two PLLs to generate various outputs with frequency options to support system timings. The PI6C110E SiliconClock is packaged in a 56-pin SSOP.
