Thought to be the first embedded density and chemical concentration sensor based on resonating tube technology, the model FC6 boasts unprecedented measurement accuracy, stability, and speed in a package measuring 1.4" x 1.1" x 0.3". Its primary application is methanol concentration measurement for direct methanol fuel cell batteries. According to the company, the FC6 will open up many applications that were not possible in the past, including sugar mixtures for sodas, alcohol mixtures for beverages, biodiesel blending, water in ethanol, ethylene glycol-water fuel cells, and butanol for bio-fuel refinery.
