Representing an expansion of the MUT series of surface-mount audio transducers, the MUT-01D features a compact, 11 mm x 14 mm x 3 mm size, making it suitable for use in cell phones, pagers and PDAs. The new device incorporates the company's patented design that is claimed to result in a robust output, despite the device's small size. Weighing only 1 gram, the device operates at temperatures ranging from -20°C to 70°C. The design of the MUT-01D allows it to be auto mounted, enabling it be used in reflow processes.
