Rugged, flexible RatiopacPRO series cases are said to be easily adapted to the housing needs of instrumentation, measurement and control systems. Complying with IEEE 1101.10 specifications and featuring integral EMC shielding, the cases enable designers to complete development of a system before selecting either a portable desktop case or 19" plug-in unit. Users can select either space-optimized units (3U, 4U or 6U) or units with integral ventilation (4U, 5U or 7U). The case's internal framework consists of extruded aluminum rails mounted between aluminum side panels and support brackets. Basic units provide EMC attenuation of greater than 25 dB at 1 GHz, with increased shielding available if required. The RatiopacPO multi-function system cases offer features such as injector/extractor handles and guide rails with coding for 19" cards and are available with a variety of different options.
