Designed in a ME 22.5 mm housing, a new safety relay comes equipped with two to eight normally-open release current paths and one normally-closed signaling current path. This PSR relay is designed in accordance to EN50 178 with reinforced isolation from other modules. The safety circuit is controlled with one or two channels, with cross circuit detection for safety category 4. All field connections are pluggable and coded with wiring convenience. The PSR relay meets the requirements of EN 954-1 Category 4 and can be used for the Stop Category 0 in accordance with EN 60204. With a compact, space-saving design, the relay is suited for emergency stop applications, guard-door monitoring, two-hand operation and safety light barriers. Using the appropriate force guided relay-expansion modules, the safe connection of up to five normally-open release paths and two normally-closed signaling paths is possible. The PSR safety relay is C-UL US listed. PHOENIX CONTACT INC., Harrisburg, PA. (800) 322-3225.
