Pre-Calibrated Position Sensors Replace Pots

Pre-calibrated, the LP750 Series hermetically sealed and frictionless position sensors and serve as long-life replacements for failing potentiometers in a range of industrial applications. Delivering frictionless position feedback similar to a potentiometer, the sensors have no parts that wear out and employ a stainless steel construction meeting IEC standard IP-68. Electrical termination through a sealed radial connector allows access to either or both ends of the unit for mechanical support and guidance and also makes the sensors easier to clean out while providing a shorter install length when compared to axial-type units. The LP Series position sensors are available in standard ranges of 100 mm to 600 mm and with a pre-calibrated, loop-powered 4 mA to 20 mA input/output or a nominal 24 Vdc input providing a 0 to 10 Vdc output.
