Operating from 136 MHz to 174 MHz, the CRBV55FL-0136-0174 Red Box voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) has a control voltage range of 0.5 to 4.5 V. Its typical phase noise is -123 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset and has excellent linearity. Output power is typically +9 dBm. All of the company’s Red Box VCOs come housed in a robust aluminum enclosure (1.25 in. x 1.25 in. x 0.58 in.) with SMA connectors, enhancing the component’s durability and making integration into a system a plug-and-play option. The CRBV55FL-0136-0174 features an input voltage of 5 V, with a maximum current consumption of 25 mA. Pulling and pushing are minimized to 1.0 MHz and 1.0 MHz/V, respectively.
