Taking a unique approach for mounting into equipment with limited access, the company adds snap-in mounting technology to its MSM series metal switches. The snap-in components retain the same characteristics as their screw-mount counterparts with the only difference being in the mounting of the switch onto the equipment. Requiring no assembly tools, they are force fit into the front panel from the front side of the equipment. The switches mount in a 22-mm diameter opening on panels measuring 1.5-mm and 2-mm thick. Other mounting diameters up to 30 mm for a panel thickness up to 3 mm are available on request. The complete series provides maximum switching power over a voltage range of 5 Vdc to 250 Vac and a current range of 0.1A to 10A. Pricing starts at about $10 each/100. SCHURTER INC., Santa Rosa, CA.
