The CCHD-950/CVHD-950 clock/voltage-controlled crystal oscillator ultra-low phase noise HCMOS oscillator provides a noise floor of −162 dBc/Hz, which is useful in synthetic instrumentation like VXI/PXI. It comes in an FR5 surface-mounted device package measuring 9 by 14 mm. Also, it generates frequencies between 50 and 100 MHz, with 80 and 100 MHz offered as standard. The input supply voltage is 3.3 V dc, and current consumption is 15 mA. A version with an extended operating-temperature range of −40°C to 85°C is available. Depending on the specifications ordered, the oscillator costs $12 to $16 each in volume lots.
