For precision temperature measurement in a variety of systems including battery-powered products, the TMP275 temperature sensor specifies an accuracy of ±0.5°C from +10°C to +85°C and a ±0.75°C maximum accuracy from 0°C to +100°C. It employs a two-wire serial interface that is both I2C and SMBus compatible. Other features include a power consumption of 50 mA, programmable resolution from 9 to 12 bits, 0.1-mA shutdown current mode, and a temperature range from -40°C to +125°C.
