Targeting computer systems needing rugged, environmentally-protected trackballs offering good feel and control, these new cursor control, industrial duty devices have balls ranging from 2.25" in diameter for precision applications down to 1.375" for portable equipment. Models TBS225 and TBS200 come in 2.25" and 2.00" ball sizes, respectively, employ Teflon ball seals to provide protection from most liquids, gels and dust, and mount directly to a console's underside. The smaller, snap-in front panel mount Model TBP138 has a small, open design that gives it a low profile, useful in applications requiring portability. Applications for the trackballs include robotic positioning systems, video editing machines, design workstations, and medical imaging systems.
