Designers seeking crystal oscillators that can help extend the life of battery-powered instrumentation, portable equipment, and consumer products have new candidates for the assignments in the form of CO43S and CO46S oscillators. The timing devices have a standby current of just 10 mA max. and a frequency range of 1 to 133 MHz. Frequency stabilities are ±25, ±50 and ±100 ppm in a ceramic package measuring 5 x 7 x 1.8 mm. Operating current is at 3.3V with current drains of 12, 25, 35 and 60 mA, depending on the oscillator's frequency range. Temperature range for the devices is -20°C to 70°C, with an extended temperature range of -40°C to 85°C also available. Pricing is $0.90 to $2.00 each/10K, depending on frequency desired.
