Adding to the company's Gigabit Ethernet camera offerings, the TM-2040GE provides a 2-Mpixel UXGA resolution (1,600 x 1,200 pixels) and software-selectable operation that allows users to choose between dual-tap mode at 34 fps with automatic channel balancing, or single-tap mode operating at 17 fps. Exploiting a 1" Kodak progressive scan IT CCD sensor (KAI-2020), the camera produces 12-bit linear images, or 10-/8-bit images that are modifiable by a user-defined look-up table. Typical signal-to-noise ratio extends beyond 58 dB. Monochrome and Bayer CFA color models come with standard GigE Vision Gigabit Ethernet digital interfaces. All TM-2040GE models include image center partial scanning--600, 300, or 150 lines--as well as variable partial scanning. Other features include a PIV mode enabling the capture of pairs of images separated by a few microseconds and a defective pixel compensation feature. Available now, volume pricing is available upon request. JAI INC., San Jose, CA. (800) 445-5444.
