The SMP6LCxx-2P and SMLCxxC-2 series low capacitance transient voltage suppressors (TVSs) are targeted at high-frequency telephone applications. Designed for 600W peak-pulse power for a 10/1000 µs waveform, the devices in both series meet secondary telephone line surge requirements on both tip-to-ground and ring-to-ground. The devices' line pairs are isolated to limit crosstalk or line interference between tip or ring-line transmissions. Available for 5V, 6.5V and 12V operating circuits, the components have a capacitance of less than 25 pF, and are available in higher voltage ratings. Pricing is $3.95 each/1,000.
