The G9EA DC power relay functions like traditional electromechanical relays and targets applications such as battery chargers and the master shut-off system in hybrid electric and electric vehicles. With a small contact gap and a low power consumption of approximately 5W, the G9EA tackles the problem of breaking system currents. In addition, its small contact gap limits noise and offers high reliability for low contact resistance. Other features include a rated load of 400 Vdc, a rated current of 60A, and an electrical endurance of 30,000 operations (minimum) at 400 Vdc, 30A. The G9EA DC power relay also suits fuel cell electric vehicles, battery forklifts, and industrial robot controllers. For more information, contact OMRON ELECTRONICS LLC, Schaumburg, IL.
