Providing high-power dissipation capabilities above 1.5 kW in small envelopes, these new transient voltage suppression (TVS) diodes are available in DO-214AA (SMB) and axial-lead packages. The SMB components come with power ratings of 500W, 600W and 1 kW with breakdown voltages from 5V to 185V. With breakdown voltages from 5V to 440V, the axial-lead diodes offer power ratings of 500W, 600W and 1.5 kW.
