Specifying a high strength-to-weight ratio capable of supporting and protecting equipment during the full force of a seismic event, the Type 45S cabinet enclosures employ cross bracing, back stiffeners, and double-walled extrusions to meet the requirements of Zone 4 shock and vibration standards. The corner sockets and members are welded to meet ANSI 329 and Bellcore TR-63 specifications. The overall design incorporates a rugged double cavity aluminum extrusion with solid L-shaped corner keys, and the welded base is made of seven-gauge steel. The rails are available in 11- or 10-gauge steel for extra heavy-duty applications. Additionally, the cabinets offer two unique bezel styles for 19" and 24" systems, as well as a number of other options. Pricing starts under $1,000. ELMA ELECTRONIC INC., Fremont, CA.
