Measuring only 39 mm x 23 mm x 47 mm and weighing just 1 oz., the model #BPS4228L-12-CS-DA siren is capable of delivering sound pressure levels (SPLs) of over 110 dB, an output that is claimed to be greater than that of many larger devices, at three feet. The device operates on a voltage range of 6 to 14 Vdc and consumes 130 mA at 12 Vdc. Frequency range is from 2 kHz to 3.5 kHz and the siren can perform in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +70°C. A standard model includes red and black, #22 AWG stranded lead wires that measure three inches in length.
