Fully-framed, cleanable air filters have been developed for large-scale equipment enclosures, such as used to house communications equipment. The zero clearance air filters are designed for use where the filters can potentially create interference problems with internal cabinet components like cables, power supplies, and fan trays. The Sturdy-Grid media retainer prevents filter media from being distorted or otherwise blown out of the frame. And the new diamond pattern grid holds the filter media within the overall thickness of the filter frame and maintains the flatness of the part without bulging or bowing.
